Please see the below information on the new availability of $6 million in NRCS funding for their Drought Resilience Improvement Project (DRIP), through the EQIP program. Deadline to apply is April 19. While the funds are available statewide for crops and rangeland, of particular interest to Larimer County may be the availability of funds for eligible non-industrial private forest landowners (tree farms, etc.) for forest health and fire recovery. I've had one of them identified by the Wyoming Natural Diversity Database. It is "Scrambled Eggs" ( Corydalis aurea), which is actually native (http://plants.usda.gov/java/profile?symbol=COAU2).
Right now, it is green, with finely divided leaves, and grows in a circle with a taproot. Later, it should have lots of nice yellow flowers all over the woods.
I'm still working on the other one --- looks like we'll find out more once it flowers.

The film, directed by our own Dave Steinke, draws on Leopold’s experiences and explores his impact on conservation projects around the world today.
The stations are planning on showing the film on or around Earth Day.
